The 3rd annual “Stars and Songs” event returns with Juno award winner, Ian Tamblyn. Join this Canadian Musician and adventurer for an evening of songs and storytelling. Stay for the night or make it a weekend and enjoy a bonus evening of night sky telescope viewings and a campfire!

Vision Board and Custom Journal Make and Take

Why not come out and join us? We provide all materials (Journal and board provided, markers, pens, paint, embellishments and pre-printed worksheets etc). Participants are encouraged to bring any embellishments they may want to incorporate from photos, magazines to use, postcards etc and anything they would like to personally include on their boards or in their journals.

This is a wonderful way to center yourself going forward into this new decade and a great way to focus and track your progress.

Affordably Numb: Pink Floyd’s The Wall
When: January 22-25
Where: Sudbury Theatre Centre

Some of Sudbury’s best musicians pay tribute to one of the most successful and influential groups in popular music history, Pink Floyd. This fully realized rock concert, complete with set projections and laser light show, showcases the entire song list of the multi-platinum/diamond album The Wall, one of the greatest of all time.

Ladies Night
When: January 25
Where: Laurentian Ski Hill, North Bay

Come learn at ALL levels, ski or board. Start on the beginner hill, or go straight to the chair lift for a fun race. Apres ski at the bonfire with our signature drink. Door prizes, girl time and appetizers till they’re gone. Tell your friends, bring your friends! Non-skiers welcome. Tickets available at the upper lodge. $20 event ticket required. Includes lift and rentals if needed.

High Tea

Our high tea menu shall be prepared for our guests including savory sandwiches, fresh hot scones, and an array of decadent desserts. We will be serving our premium grade Assam black tea which is sure to delight your palette.

Art Battle
When: January 30
Where: WKP Kennedy Gallery, North Bay

Join us for an electric Thursday evening full of live art!

Come watch the paint fly before your eyes and help vote to determine the Winner as artists battle the clock & each other in 3 fast-paced rounds.
All artwork will also be available for auction during this incredible night of community and creation!

Be a part of the fun as a spectator, or participate as one of the featured artists by applying online at!

Art Battle® is live competitive painting. Painters create the best work they can in 20 minutes. As they work, patrons move around the easels, closely watching the creative process. The medium is acrylic paint and the tools allowed are brushes, palette knives or any non-mechanical implements. At the end of the round, the audience votes democratically for their favourite painting and bids in silent auction to take the work home. Coaches Cafe Presented by the Sudbury School of Fitness: Guest Speaker Mike Foligno

Rising Up

We are pleased to announce that we will be hosting a second edition of “Rising Up”, an evening of music, comedy and celebration of Amelia Rising’s work in the community. This year’s fundraiser will include a live music performance from Coco Love Alcorn as well as some great laughs with stand-up comedian Martha Chaves while our community gathers in solidarity. By attending or giving to this annual event you’ll be supporting Amelia Rising to continue our important work in teaching our kids and youth about consent and healthy relationships. Please note that we are a registered charity, therefore charitable tax receipts can be issued for donations that exceed the ticket price of $25.

Poutine, Pints and Plaid

The Rotaract Club of North Bay – Nipissing is hosting their sixth annual Poutine, Pints and Plaid event!

Dine on gourmet poutine and drink some of Cecil’s famous craft beer, or any other drink of choice, while dancing the night away, with proceeds going to the North Bay and District Humane Society and other Rotaract community projects. Vegan and Vegetarian options available!

Carnevale – Masquerade Party
